Job summary

HCLTech in Switzerland seeks a specialist to implement the Avaloq Banking System in selected areas for our clients and to develop innovative front-end solutions for banks.

You will design and parameterise various business cases according to client needs, develop business or technical specifications, and support user training at the client site.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in physics, CS, mathematics, industrial engineering or comparable field.
• Strong analytical skills and IT interest.
• Practical knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle.
• Experience with PL/SQL is an advantage.
• German and English at a very good level.
• Team player with flexibility, resilience, communication skills, and a proactive, results-driven attitude.

Responsibilities

• To maintain existing features, troubleshoot bugs, resolve ad-hoc requests and provide support for enhancements based on business/client requirements and from the functional/technical team.
• Provide client support by presenting data, information, ticket resolution and day-to-day support activities like monitoring client requirements and scheduling on-time delivery of tasks.
• Create documents for CMMi and client requirements related to enhancements.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Interact with the customer and internal teams to gather requirements for development purposes.

Skills & Qualifications

• You have a Master's or PhD degree in physics, computer science, mathematics, industrial engineering or in a comparable field

• Your interest in IT and strong analytical skills distinguishes you

• In the area of relational databases, such as Oracle, you have practical knowledge

• Programming experience such as PL/SQL is an advantage

• German and English at a very good level

• You are a team player with high flexibility and resilience, have excellent communication skills and you are result-oriented and proactive

Key Responsibilities

1. To maintain existing features, troubleshoot bugs , resolve ad-hoc requests and provide support for enhancement (major and minor) /new developments based on business/ client requirements as well as from the functional and technical team of HCL on the project.

2. To provide client support by presenting data, information, ticket resolution and day to day support activities like monitoring client requirements as well as keeping track of schedule for on time delivery of assigned tasks as per the defined quality standards.

3. To perform activities related to enhancement creation of documents for CMMi and client requirements

4. To provide technical guidance to junior developers

5. To interact with the customer and internal teams to gather requirements for development purposes.
