Bank Julius Bär & Co. Ltd. is seeking a senior data engineer to design, build, and operate the data platform that underpins analytics and AI initiatives. You will own end-to-end data pipelines, from ingestion to insights, ensuring high-quality data for real-time decisioning and reporting.

You will work with Python/Scala, SQL, and cloud technologies on Azure, leveraging Databricks, Delta Lake, and Spark tooling while promoting robust data governance and security practices.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in ETL/ELT, data warehousing, BI, and integrating data tools into pipelines.
• 5+ years building data systems with Python, Scala, or similar languages.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and issue diagnosis, plus Azure cloud experience in CI/CD.

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and backend services for real-time decisioning, reporting, and data collection.
• Improve data governance, security, and data quality across platforms.
• Lead data modeling efforts and implement scalable data architectures.
