Job summary

The Inter-American Development Bank seeks a dynamic Incident Response and Forensics Senior Associate to join the Cybersecurity team. You will coordinate detection, triage, and incident response across internal teams and with external MSPs, while performing forensics with proper chain of custody.

You will craft detailed incident reports, improve playbooks, and support training to strengthen the Bank’s security posture. English required; visa/relocation support provided.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field; Bachelor's considered.
• At least 3 years with Master's or 6 years with Bachelor's in cybersecurity, SOC, or digital forensics.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of another official Bank language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cyber incident detection and triage of security alerts and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate incident response across internal teams and MSPs; contain threats and support recovery.
• Perform digital forensics, evidence collection with chain of custody for potential proceedings.
• Conduct threat analysis, root-cause analysis, and produce detailed incident reports.
