Job summary

Julius Baer in Zürich seeks a data migration specialist to design and execute end-to-end CRM migration projects in a financial services setting. You will develop SQL, PL/SQL and Python scripts, map source to target systems, and ensure data integrity across large datasets.

You will collaborate with business analysts, architects and developers, document processes, and support post-go-live activities. Strong experience in enterprise data integration and fluent English are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data migration, database development, or data integration projects.
• Proven experience delivering complex data migration projects within enterprise environments.
• Experience with CRM systems in financial industries.
• Hands-on experience working with large datasets and mission-critical business systems.
• Strong knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL and Python.
• Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
• Ability to develop complex automation, validation, transformation, and migration scripts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Very good English level (verbal/written).

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end CRM data migration solutions.
• Analyze source and target systems to define migration strategies and mapping specifications.
• Perform detailed data mapping, transformation and loading activities to ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL, PL/SQL and Python scripts to support extraction, transformation, validation, and loading of data.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve migration-related data issues, anomalies, and performance bottlenecks.
• Work closely with business analysts, architects and developers to gather migration requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support during migration planning, execution, and post-go-live activities.
• Document migration processes, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
