Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Geneva seeks a Credit Officer Director within Wealth Management Credit Risk to identify, measure, manage and monitor credit risk across global businesses. You will approve new and existing extensions of credit and mentor junior officers.

You will collaborate with bankers, product partners, control functions and senior risk leadership to ensure governance, robust risk metrics and timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Balance sheet and cash flow analysis experience in credit analysis.
• Proven ability to analyze credit structures and mitigate risks.
• Experience approving credit transactions.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication with attention to detail.
• Ability to foster an inclusive environment.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Approve new and existing credit exposures within delegated limits.
• Ensure credit exposure is structured, documented and approved per policy.
• Assess risks and mitigants, balance risk and reward, manage renewals and new transactions.
• Monitor portfolio, escalate potential problems immediately.
• Form and communicate independent, well-supported views to partners and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance transactions.
• Mentor and coach team members, contribute to team culture, and participate in improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to solve problems and influence outcomes.
• Identify and monitor concentrations, trends, and themes in the portfolio.
• Drive key projects and strategic initiatives to close gaps and improve risk management.
• Uphold organizational standards and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
