Job summary

Deloitte AG in Basel/Zurich is seeking a Senior Consultant / Manager for SAP Supply Chain (Plan to Make). You will lead and contribute to large-scale SAP transformations, spanning design, development and integration across manufacturing and operations.

The role involves collaborating with global SAP teams, enabling process optimization, and traveling within Switzerland and abroad as needed; strong English communication required.

Qualifications

• University degree and 2+ years SAP experience; exposure to S/4HANA is a plus.
• Understanding of SAP Plan To Make domains (PP, MES, QM, PLM, EAM, IAM).
• Strong communication between technical and business teams; independent and responsible.
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland and abroad; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support large-scale projects in Switzerland and abroad.
• Guide clients from conceptual design to successful implementation in operations.
• Take sub-project manager tasks within new implementations.
• Design and extend SAP standard software solutions.
• Develop customer applications and integrate various software solutions.

Senior Consultant / Manager, SAP Supply Chain (Plan to Make)

Location: Basel, Zurich Work Pattern Percentage: 80-100%

Our Deloitte SAP Plan to Make consultants own the capabilities which are required to evaluate, develop and implement a wide range of SAP integrated solutions which are required to cover the business needs of our clients.

The SAP team delivers business focused transformation programmes supported by process design, people solutions and technology. We focus on realizing operational improvements and efficiencies across the business operations. We closely partner with SAP globally and combine their tools and functionalities with our proven expertise to offer the best solutions to our clients.

How you can make an impact

• You will support exciting large-scale projects in Switzerland and abroad
• You will accompany clients from the conceptual design of initial ideas to successful implementation in operations.
• You will be working on the assumption of sub-project manager tasks within the scope of new implementations
• You will design and extend SAP standard software solutions
• You will be working on the development of customer applications and the integration of various software solutions

Who we are looking for

• You have a University degree (Master's, MBA or PhD) and at least 2 year's professional experience in a SAP environment; exposure to S/4HANA is an advantage
• You have a good understanding of and practical experience in one of the SAP Plan To Make domains, such as:

• SAP Production Planning (PP)
• SAP MES
• SAP Quality Management (QM)
• SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
• SAP Intelligent Asset Management (IAM)

• You have skills acting as an SAP enabler and communicator between technical experts and the business
• You work independently, take the initiative and are happy taking on responsibility. You have excellent technical and analytical skills, are a reliable team player and have experience managing staff
• You are happy to travel in the area of Switzerland and would also be prepared to work abroad, and you communicate confidently in and English. Any further languages would be an advantage
