EY seeks a Senior Consultant in Digital Health to join the Swiss market team within the Digital Health Excellence Center (DHEC). You will contribute to strategy, IT-driven transformations and the implementation of digital health solutions for healthcare clients in Switzerland.

The role emphasizes collaboration with international experts and local stakeholders to drive value. You will help align offerings with market needs, engaging with clinicians, regulators and business partners to deliver

Qualifications

• Academic background in nursing, medicine, medical informatics, clinical IT or digital health.
• A minimum of 3–4 years of relevant experience in multidisciplinary/international teams.
• Good understanding of Swiss healthcare landscape and regulatory requirements.

As the DHEC, we bring our expert knowledge and delivery power to healthcare clients in collaboration with the local firms. As part of the Swiss firm, you will focus on the Swiss market, and leverage EY’s international expertise to bring value to our local clients.

As a Senior Consultant in Digital Health, you will work alongside a team of national and international experts in technology, business and the healthcare sector. Strategy, IT-driven business transformations, and implementation of digital health solutions in Switzerland are core areas for us. With you we want to further strengthen our expertise and impact the Swiss healthcare market.

Your key responsibilities

• As a Senior Consultant in digital health, you will play an active role in our go-to-market activities, business development, and the delivery of projects for healthcare clients.
• You will develop and maintain materials representing our Swiss healthcare practice and its offering, ensuring that they reflect industry trends, best practices, emerging technologies, and market developments.
• You will maintain and grow your professional network, and build lasting client relationships together with the team, ensuring that our engagements create tangible value for our clients and contribute to the digital transformation of the Swiss healthcare landscape.
• You will work closely with healthcare, business and technology experts to align solutions with market needs, ensuring that offerings are patient-centric and take relevant healthcare standards and regulatory requirements into account.

What we look for

• An excellent academic background, including at least a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. nursing, medicine, medical informatics, clinical IT, or digital health).
• A minimum of 3 - 4 years of relevant working experience, including experience in contributing to multidisciplinary and/or international teams and working with different stakeholder groups. Experience as a healthcare professional or in adjacent fields is a plus.
• A good understanding of the Swiss healthcare landscape and the ability to connect clinical, regulatory, business and technology requirements.
• Experience with or familiarity with healthcare-specific digital solutions (e.g. HIS, EHR, CDR, LIMS, CDSS) as well as interoperability standards and healthcare data models and terminologies (e.g. HL7 FHIR, openEHR, OMOP, LOINC, SNOMED)
• Fluency in English and at least one Swiss local language (written and spoken) is a prerequisite. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Strong organizational and self-management skills, combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with business, technical and/or medical audiences. Project management experience and familiarity with relevant delivery methodologies are a plus.
