Qualifikationen

• PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, epidemiology, or a related quantitative field, with postdoctoral experience.
• Experience working in collaborative, multi‑partner research projects, ideally involving clinical or cohort data.
• Strong organizational skills and track record of delivering research projects and publications.
• Proficiency in R or Python and analysis of biomedical data.
• Excellent written and spoken English and ability to communicate with scientists, clinicians, and administrative partners.

Aufgaben

• Overseeing the lab's research projects: managing timelines, milestones, and deliverables across ERC and SNSF grants, and preparing scientific and financial reports to funders.
• Managing project budgets, procurement, and contracts in collaboration with department administration.
• Coordinating collaborations with partner cohorts, clinical partners, and their PIs: organizing consortium meetings and site visits.
• Overseeing data‑and‑material‑transfer agreements, ethics approvals, and data governance compliance.
• Supervising the lab's data manager and overseeing the pipeline delivering analysis‑ready datasets.
• Contributing to research projects and co‑authoring manuscripts across the team and partners.
• Teaching and supervising PhD and master's students.
