Qualifikationen

• 5+ years experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Engineering.
• Strong expertise in GCP, including GKE, IAM, VPC, and Compute Engine.
• Proven experience with Terraform, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Scripting in Python and Bash; experience with Agile/Scrum environments.
• Preferred: Jenkins, Ansible; exposure to Azure; monitoring with Splunk/Prometheus/Grafana.

For our Lugano office, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in implementing, automating, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a strong focus on Terraform, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Python/Bash/Ansible automation, CI/CD pipelines, platform security, and Agile collaboration with internal and external engineering teams.

Rolesand Responsibilities

• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform.
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Develop automation scripts with Python, Bash, and Ansible.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Manage GCP IAM, security policies, certificates, and secrets.
• Monitor platform performance, resolve incidents, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to Git-based development workflows.

Qualifications and Technical Skills

Required

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Engineering.
• Strong expertise in GCP (GKE, IAM, VPC, Compute Engine).
• Proven experience with Terraform , Git , Docker , and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  Preferred
• Experience with Jenkins and Ansible.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.

Location Requirement

• We do not offer a fully remote work policy
• Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino (Switzerland) or Italian Border Towns (such as Como, Varese etc.)
• Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy
