Job summary

Sunrise is seeking a Senior Service Architect to lead the architecture and evolution of our B2B connectivity and network security services in Switzerland. You will translate business requirements into technical designs and roadmaps, shaping resilient, scalable offerings across a multinational environment.

The role emphasizes working with Product Management, driving proofs-of-concept, and ensuring cost-efficient operations while maintaining high standards of security and performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or a comparable technical field.
• Extensive experience designing and delivering B2B network services in telecom/ISP environments.
• Strong understanding of IP networking technologies (IP/MPLS, BGP, broadband architectures).
• Hands-on knowledge of network security solutions including firewalls and DDoS protection.

Responsibilities

• Drive the architecture and evolution of Sunrise’s B2B connectivity and network security services.
• Define service architectures, technical standards, and platform roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Product Management to develop new service offerings and enhance existing services.
• Translate business requirements into technical design, implementation plans and engineering guidelines.
• Plan and execute proof-of-concept tests, validations and technical assessments.
• Improve service resilience, automation, operational visibility and cost efficiency.
