Job summary

BRUSA Elektronik AG in Buchs (CH) seeks an experienced engineer to advance diagnostic functions for our inductive charging system. You will collaborate with software architects and other departments to shape the diagnostic software architecture and verification criteria.

The role requires a degree in a technical field, 7+ years in automotive software and 3+ years in diagnostics, plus hands-on Aurix and preferably STM32, AUTOSAR components, and diagnostic protocols like UDS and OBD.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
7+ years in automotive software domain; 3+ years diagnostics.
Experience with Infineon Aurix microcontrollers.
Knowledge of AUTOSAR diagnostic components and protocols (UDS/OBD).

Responsibilities

Develop technical concepts for diagnostic and system functions of inductive charging.
Evaluate impact of new diagnostics on software and system architecture with colleagues.
Define and maintain system and software requirements and verification criteria.
Ensure compliance with ASPICE and ISO/IEC standards and charging/safety standards.
Develop and maintain diagnostic features and roadmaps with project/product management.
Support development and testing phases; coordinate with suppliers for series readiness.
