Job summary

KPMG Switzerland is seeking a dedicated auditor to join our banking and asset management practice in Geneva. You will lead audits of consolidated and standalone financial statements and assess internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 4-5 years of experience with banks, a Swiss CPA or equivalent, fluent French and English, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. This role offers opportunities to develop business and lead audit engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Swiss CPA qualification or equivalent auditing qualification (obtained).
• 4-5 years of audit experience with national and international banks and asset managers.
• Proven track record in leading audit engagements and managing audit teams.
• Willingness to support business development, including client acquisition.
• Native French language skills and English language proficiency.
• Strong ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Audit consolidated and standalone financial statements for banking clients.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls across key banking processes.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to special regulatory audits and investigations, alongside statutory audits.
• Lead audit engagements by managing resource planning and supervising team members.
