Biogen, Inc. is seeking a senior leader to guide Asset Development & Portfolio Management (ADPM) across PO&T.

You will shape a multi-year asset strategy, align cross-functional teams, and partner with R&D and commercial leaders to maximize asset value through lifecycle planning and risk mitigation. You will influence portfolio decisions, manage complex programs, and drive collaboration across manufacturing, supply, and commercial functions to deliver life-changing medicines.

Qualifikationen

• BS or equivalent in Sciences/Eng with an advanced degree (MS, PhD, MBA) preferred in a relevant biopharmaceutical discipline.
• Minimum of 12 years experience with a focus on matrix management.
• Strong track record leading cross-functional program teams across the full product lifecycle.
• Global alliance experience; understanding of business contracts and management.
• Experience with CMC, supply chain, or LCM development from IND to NDA/BLA.
• Technical expertise in a relevant biopharmaceutical development discipline.
• Experience in healthcare/biotech/pharmaceutical industries with cross-functional interdependencies.
• Excellent strategic, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead and influence without authority and align diverse perspectives.
• Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proven ability to identify critical program risks and develop mitigation plans.

Aufgaben

• Oversee development and implementation of a 5-year PO&T Asset Strategy and 18-month Tactical Plan aligned with company objectives.
• Lead the cross-functional PO&T Asset Team to ensure cohesive execution of asset strategy.
• Act as liaison for PO&T on R&D Program teams and PDC teams to support assets.
• Address conflicts related to Asset Strategy in coordination with the PO&T Governance Committee.
• Track asset-related impacts on financial metrics (COGS, OPEX, E&O) and develop improvement strategies.
• Develop business cases for significant Asset initiatives and secure governance endorsement.
