Nestlé Research in Lausanne seeks a Senior Technician in Analytical Chemistry to develop and manage analytical methods for food compliance and contaminant risk assessment. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, drive method validation, and deliver high‑quality results across markets.

You will lead advanced LC/GC-MS work, support technical services, and contribute to reports and publications while coaching apprentices in a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifikationen

• Background in analytical chemistry with hands-on industrial experience.
• Proven ability to develop and validate analytical methods for food safety and contaminants.
• Strong expertise in liquid chromatography and gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry.
• Excellent English and French reading/writing communications.

Aufgaben

• Develop analytical methods to strengthen food safety and contaminant risk assessment.
• Manage and maintain advanced laboratory equipment to deliver reliable data.
• Drive method validation, lifecycle management, and quality improvements.
• Provide technical support to markets and partners with clear troubleshooting.
• Contribute to reports, SOPs, and communication of analytical results.
• Coach apprentices and students and promote safety and good laboratory practices.
