Job summary

Alpinum Solutions is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to lead KYC/CDD reviews for a 3-month Swiss assignment in a hybrid setup. You will perform enhanced due diligence, sanctions/PEP screening, and risk assessments for high-risk relationships, while collaborating with Risk, Compliance, and Front Office to comply with Swiss regulations.

Qualifications

• Extensive AML and compliance experience in banking or financial services, with strong KYC/CDD exposure.
• Solid knowledge of Swiss AML regulations, FATF recommendations, and best practices.
• Academic background in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, high attention to detail, and MS Excel proficiency.
• Independent and proactive working style in a dynamic compliance environment.
• Fluent Spanish is required; working proficiency in English or German is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and independently oversee KYC and customer due diligence reviews for new and existing clients, including complex and high-risk relationships.
• Perform enhanced due diligence, sanctions and PEP screening, assess AML risks, and investigate and escalate potentially suspicious cases.
• Take ownership of ongoing AML compliance activities, including periodic reviews, remediation work, and risk-based client assessments.
• Serve as a senior contact for internal stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, and Front Office on KYC and AML matters in line with Swiss regulatory requirements.
• Identify gaps and strengthen KYC and AML processes, controls, and procedures in response to evolving financial crime risks and regulatory developments.
