Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of relevant experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry across business roles such as underwriting, portfolio management, operations, strategy or transformation.
• Hands-on business experience in the (re)insurance industry complemented by risk management or other control functions.
• Proven experience in major transformation programmes or complex strategic initiatives with ability to assess business cases and financial assumptions.
• Practical understanding of AI and AI-related risks across the lifecycle including model performance, data, human oversight, third-party dependencies and regulatory landscape.
• Track record of advising senior executives and translating complex issues into clear, decision-relevant recommendations.

Aufgaben

• Lead risk identification, assessment, mitigation and coordination across Swiss Re's AI programme.
• Partner with project teams and senior leaders to identify material risks and critical decisions across business units.
• Independently challenge business cases and solution designs and monitor risk exposure vs. approved plans.
• Assess governance and guardrails through the AI lifecycle and escalate deviations as needed.
• Provide concise, balanced risk advice to senior management and governance bodies.
• Identify recurring themes and translate them into enterprise-level risk positions and reusable controls.
• Coordinate input from AI Governance, Model Validation and other functions to ensure comprehensive risk oversight.
• Strengthen Swiss Re's AI risk community through coaching and guidance.
