Sealio, a Swiss AI B2B SaaS, seeks an early‑stage engineer to own features from concept to production—web UI, API services, queue workers, and data stores. You’ll build agentic AI workflows, ship end‑to‑end systems, and directly influence product strategy with the CTO.

You’ll partner with founders to scale the platform for enterprise clients. Expect hands‑on work with Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, FastAPI, Python, PostgreSQL, S3, and OpenAI tooling.

• 3+ years in SaaS client-facing projects with real paying clients.
• Full‑stack capability across UI, API, and data pipelines.

You will be among the first employees in the engineering team at Sealio. You will work directly alongside the Founders.

This is not a ticket-taking role. As one of our first engineers, you will own features end-to-end, from product requirements and architecture to shipping UI, AI agentic workflows and backend pipelines. You will code daily, use AI developer tools (Claude Code, etc.) to multiply your output, and build the foundation to scale Sealio to thousands of enterprise customers.

The job

• End-to-End Product Engineering: Own full-stack features from concept to production: web app, API services, queue workers, and database.
• Agentic AI & RAG Systems: Architect, ship, and operate multi-step AI pipelines (hybrid RAG, reranking, document extraction) in production, with automated evals, guardrails, and human review where accuracy matters.
• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Partner directly with the CTO to translate customer feedback and sales requirements into engineering priorities and backlog items.
• Infrastructure & Scaling: Harden our architecture for tenant isolation, enterprise security (SSO, audit logs), and reliability at scale. Instrument AI workflows with tracing and per-tenant cost, latency, and quality metrics.
• Team Growth: Set the engineering standards (code review, automated testing, CI/CD, incident response) and help hire top engineers, with a clear path to Engineering Lead as the team grows.

Frontend: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS. Backend and data: FastAPI, Python, PostgreSQL with pgvector, S3. AI: OpenAI, embeddings, hybrid RAG pipelines. Platform: GitHub, WorkOS, Better Stack.

What you bring

• SaaS Client-Facing Experience: 3+ years of experience building and scaling AI B2B SaaS applications used by real paying clients. Comfortable running convincing client demos. You are a product-minded engineer with a strong eye for UI/UX.
• True Full-Stack Capability: Comfortable writing sleek UI components in Next.js/Tailwind, building API routes in Python, and writing async Python workers for data processing.
• Hands-on AI & RAG Mastery: Direct experience building agentic workflows, embeddings, vector databases, reranking, and structured extraction from unstructured documents.
• Production AI Rigor: You have shipped LLM features to paying clients and know how to keep them reliable. You build eval datasets, regression-test prompt and model changes before release, and add guardrails against hallucination, prompt injection, and PII leakage. You manage cost and latency.
• AI-Native Developer Workflow: You are highly proficient with AI developer tools (Claude Code, etc.) and use them daily to accelerate feature delivery. You also have hands-on experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and safe rollouts (feature flags, canary deployments).
• Solid Infrastructure Experience: PostgreSQL, schema migrations, API design, background queues, and authentication (SSO, RBAC). Proven tenant isolation and audit logging. Production observability (tracing, metrics, alerting) and experience running live services with SLAs and incident response.
• Leading a team: 3+ years in an engineering lead role, including line management.
• Geneva Hybrid Setup: Able to work on-site in Geneva three days per week.
• Languages: Fluent English (internal language). (Swiss) German is a strong asset for interacting with regional Swiss/DACH clients.
