Antaes Consulting is seeking a Senior AI Lead to drive the group’s AI strategy and roadmap, embedding governance, security and compliance across projects.

You will lead PoCs and innovation initiatives, coordinating with senior management and technical teams to deliver measurable ROI while ensuring regulatory alignment and robust data governance.

Qualifikationen

• At least 10 years of experience in Software Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Data & AI, Digital Transformation or a related field.
• Proven experience leading AI initiatives, digital transformation programmes or enterprise-wide technology adoption programmes.
• Strong understanding of modern AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, agentic systems and Enterprise AI platforms.
• Ability to translate business objectives into technology strategies, target architectures and investment roadmaps.
• Proven experience evaluating and selecting technologies and platforms based on technical, business and operational criteria.

Senior AI Lead – Engineering & Digital Transformation

Responsibilities

As part of a company-wide digital transformation and Artificial Intelligence adoption programme, you will be responsible for defining and driving the organisation’s AI strategy.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Define and drive the company-wide AI vision, strategy and roadmap.
• Establish an AI governance framework to ensure secure, controlled and compliant adoption of AI technologies.
• Identify, assess and prioritise high-value AI use cases and investment opportunities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies including LLMs, RAG, agentic systems and Enterprise AI platforms.
• Define the company’s AI reference architecture and ensure consistency across AI-enabled solutions.
• Establish best practices for AI-assisted activities across engineering, architecture, software development, verification & validation, documentation and project management.
• Support the selection of AI platforms, services and tools, as well as related investment decisions.
• Lead PoCs, pilot projects and innovation initiatives, and support their transition towards production and wider adoption.
• Define processes and KPIs to measure the benefits, risks and ROI of AI initiatives.
• Ensure that cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, intellectual property and compliance requirements are properly addressed.
• Support teams in adopting AI through workshops, coaching and awareness initiatives.
• Monitor technological and regulatory developments related to Artificial Intelligence.
• Act as a trusted AI advisor to senior management and to technical and business teams.

Profile

• At least 10 years of experience in Software Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Data & AI, Digital Transformation or a related field.
• Proven experience leading AI initiatives, digital transformation programmes or enterprise-wide technology adoption programmes.
• Strong understanding of modern AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, agentic systems and Enterprise AI platforms.
• Ability to translate business objectives into technology strategies, target architectures and investment roadmaps.
• Proven experience evaluating and selecting technologies and platforms based on technical, business and operational criteria.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture and integrated technology landscapes.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, intellectual property and compliance considerations related to AI.
• Experience managing PoCs, innovation portfolios and technology investment decisions.
• Knowledge of modern engineering environments and tools such as GitHub, Jira, CI/CD, documentation-as-code and artifact repositories.
• Good understanding of configuration management, change control, lifecycle traceability, verification and certification practices.
• Experience within aerospace, transportation, defence or another safety-critical / highly regulated industry would be a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of standards such as ED-153, ED-109A, ED-215, ED-205A, DO-178C or comparable frameworks would be a strong asset.
• Ability to operate effectively with both senior management and highly technical engineering teams.
