Job summary

Google DeepMind is hiring a Senior Security Engineer for the Agentic Red Team. You will lead adversarial engagements against production AI models, focusing on agentic tool usage and reasoning chains, and work with product teams to close the gap between vulnerability discovery and defensive engineering.

You will contribute to Auto Red Teaming frameworks, create guardrails, and help shape secure deployment of cutting-edge AI agents across a mission-driven security program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in Red Teaming, Offensive Security, or Adversarial Machine Learning.
• Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) architectures, agentic workflows, and AI vulnerability classes.
• Experience developing exploits for GenAI models (e.g., prompt injection, adversarial examples).

Responsibilities

• Conduct rapid security assessments on agentic services focusing on Generative AI vulnerabilities.
• Engineer and execute attack sequences on production-level AI models.
• Develop Auto Red Teaming frameworks to prevent regression in future model versions.
• Collaborate with developers during design/build phases to provide immediate feedback.
