AXIS Capital in Zürich is seeking a Reinsurance Pricing Actuary to strengthen our International Casualty Pricing Team. You will price treaty business across Motor, General Liability and Professional Lines, collaborating with underwriters and actuarial colleagues to ensure robust pricing.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or a similar technical field.
• Qualified member of an actuarial society or actively working towards qualification.
• Several years of experience in actuarial pricing, preferably within a reinsurance environment.
• Exposure to Casualty pricing across Europe, APAC, Middle East, and Latin America is desirable.
• Advanced IT skills, including familiarity with programming languages (e.g., VBA, R, SQL, C#).
• Strong proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
• Fluent in English; German or French is desirable.

How does this role contribute to our collective success?

As part of our International Casualty Pricing Team, you will play a key role in supporting the pricing of treaty business across Motor, General Liability and Professional Lines. You will work closely with underwriters and actuarial colleagues to evaluate individual trading relationships, ensuring robust technical pricing and sound risk assessment. Your work will directly contribute to portfolio profitability, informed decision-making, and the continued success of AXIS Re Europe. What you need to have:

Role Factors:

In this role, you will typically be required to be in the office at least 3 days per week, or when required as per your manager.

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of X to Y. Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.
