Job summary

VAT Group in Haag, St. Gallen, CH is seeking a Global Lead Expert Cleaning & Purity to become a central knowledge carrier in discussions with manufacturing, customers, and suppliers. You will help define cleaning standards and support cleanroom acceptance processes.

The role requires 5+ years in SEMI, a relevant science degree, and willingness to travel up to 40% with fluent German and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the SEMI industry, with focus on purity and cleaning standards.
• Fluent in German and English; technical communication in a global context.
• Hands-on mentality, strong analytical skills, and independent work style.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain VAT cleanliness standards and norms.
• Audit high-purity systems internally and externally.
• Define and manage acceptance criteria for cleanrooms and media.
• Interface with engineering, production, sales and customers.
• Specify cleaning systems, perform plant acceptance audits, and support procurement on cleaning topics.
• Direct customer contact and act as a contact for chemical issues.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality Management on cleaning topics.
• Support escalations and ensure supplier quality.
• Train VAT cleanliness practices for customers, sales and supply chain.
