Job summary

VAT Group is seeking a Technical Specialist Purity & Cleaning to become a central knowledge holder on cleaning and purity. You will interact with manufacturing, assembly, customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to advance cleanliness standards and processes.

The role emphasizes auditing, criteria definition, and close collaboration across functions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SEMI, a chemistry/engineering background, hands-on mindset, strong analytical skills, and travel

Qualifications

SEMI industry experience required.
Hands-on mentality and practical approach.
Strong analytical understanding.
Independent way of working.
Willingness to travel up to 40%.
Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain VAT cleanliness standards and norms.
Audit high-purity systems internally and externally.
Define/manage acceptance criteria for cleanrooms & media with FAM.
Interface with engineering, production, sales and customers.
Specify cleaning systems; plan audits; develop cleaning processes; assist procurement.
Direct contact with customers.
Serve as contact for chemical issues.
Collaborate with Supplier Quality on cleaning topics.
Support escalations related to cleaning.
Contribute to supplier QA requirements for cleanliness.
Train customers and sales on VAT cleanliness; train the trainer.
