Zusammenfassung

The Immigration Policy Lab in Zurich is looking for a Software Engineer focusing on secure inter-domain networking. You will be part of a research group dedicated to implementing robust network security protocols, collaborating on projects that enhance communication security.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of relevant experience, particularly with large-scale systems and security measures. Familiarity with languages such as Go and Rust, as well as a passion for open-source contribution, is essential.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in design, implementation and testing of large-scale systems.
• Comfortable with most aspects of Unix/FreeBSD/Linux system administration.
• Fluent English speakers are preferred.

Aufgaben

• Implement software for control and data plane of network infrastructure devices.
• Collaborate on code development, software release, and testing.
• Assist in testing and evaluation of prototypes using global production network.

Kenntnisse

Understanding of network security and computer networks

Experience with Go or Rust, C++, C

Solid experience writing Python scripts

Familiarity with Git version control, containers, CI/CD, Ansible

Ausbildung

Advanced degree in computer science or engineering

Tools
