Zusammenfassung

SGI is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our Zurich team. You will configure and install core networking gear, implement Palo Alto SD-WAN and GlobalProtect VPN with Prisma Access, and perform proactive maintenance to ensure high availability and security.

You will troubleshoot issues, collaborate with IT colleagues, and maintain thorough network documentation. Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus, as is experience with Azure cloud networking.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto ION or CloudGenix SD-WAN.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds Orion.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
• Experience with Azure cloud networking is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Configure and install routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS solutions.
• Implement and manage Palo Alto SD-WAN solutions to optimize network performance and security.
• Implement and manage Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN with Prisma Access.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
• Proactively monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to enhance system performance and security.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
