Job summary

Wyss Center is seeking a Scientist in Computational Neuromodulation to advance imaging, modeling and targeting methods for non-invasive neuromodulation therapies. The role collaborates with Prisma Neurotech to adapt DBS targeting methods to LIFUS and other modalities, aiming to develop software for medical device readiness within a ISO 13485 framework.

Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative field with neuroscience/engineering focus.
• Experience with MRI/CT data segmentation and atlas-based analysis.
• Proven ability to develop and validate computational models for neuromodulation.

Responsibilities

• Perform gap analysis for extending non-invasive neuromodulation tech.
• Build pipelines from MRI/CT to treatment plans with segmentation and registration.
• Develop subject-specific targets using multimodal data and normative connectomes.
• Run and validate acoustic/thermal simulations for transcranial ultrasound and electric-field simulations.
