The East Stroudsburg Area School District is seeking a School Police Officer for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a first shift, 8-hour day, 10-month position with compensation per the district plan.

Applicants must be a US citizen, 21 years old, hold a PA driver’s license and have a background in police work; 5 years experience preferred. Completion of ACT 120 basic police officer training is required; NASRO SRO training will be provided.

• Position Type:Security/ School Police Officer

This anticipated school police officer position is a first shift, 8 hour day, 10 month position. This position will be available for the start of the 2026-2027 school year. The salary and benefits are in accordance with the current School Police Officer Compensation Plan.

Applicants must be a US citizen; 21 years of age. Must possess a valid PA driver's license and a background in police work, 5 years experience preferred. Musthave completed basic police officer training from an accredited police academy (ACT 120). The required NASRO basic SRO training will be provided by the district.Access to a district police vehicle will be provided whenever possible however the successful candidate may be required to use his or her own vehicle with paid mileage.

Completion of successful interview(s) is/are required along with meeting all local requirements.

The hourly rate is $30.90.
