Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Substitute/Security School Monitor for district-wide coverage. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid New Jersey driver’s license, and a background in security or law enforcement to manage crowds and respond to crises.

Eligible candidates should be retired law enforcement with a Class A Training Certificate and be prepared to support emergency procedures, CPR/AED, and general security measures in school environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license.
• Retired Law Enforcement Officer with a Class A Training Certificate.
• 20 years of Law Enforcement Service or other Certified Retirement.
• State of New Jersey Certified Retired Law Enforcement permit to carry.
• Certified experience in Security Field public or private sector.
• Familiar with Emergency management procedures.
• CPR, Basic First Aid, and AED Certified.
• Knowledge of security measures, fire prevention, and crowd control.
• Aptitude and competence for assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to maintain order and to work with groups and individuals on matters of security and crisis management.
• Such alternative to the above qualifications that the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
• Qualified culturally diverse and bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
