Qualifikationen

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota.
• Public Health Nurse certificate per MN Board of Nursing.
• Licensed or eligible for MN school nurse license.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Aufgaben

• Develops and maintains a system for first aid, emergency care, and medication/treatment delivery per policy.
• Initiates, maintains, and reviews student health records; collects yearly data.
• Provides health information and promotes wellness to students and parents.
• Trains and supervises designated personnel in delegated nursing tasks.
• Identifies health problems through assessment and health histories; develops IHPs.
• Collaborates with Student Assistance/IEP teams and interprets health info for IEPs.
