Job summary

Faribault Public Schools seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to serve as a subject matter expert in health services across the district. The LPN will manage routine and emergency health concerns, dispense medications, and maintain student health records at multiple offices.

Qualifications

• LPN with CPR and First Aid training preferred; other medical certifications considered.
• On-site management of routine and emergency health concerns across multiple sites.
• Maintain student health records and communicate with parents, teachers, and coordinators.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to students with health needs and refer to outside providers.
• Assist with screenings and prevention of communicable diseases.
• Distribute medications to students daily and maintain health records.
• Collaborate with the health service coordinator and school staff.
