Job summary

KPMG International in Switzerland is seeking a senior Tax Technology consultant to lead transformation projects in SAP S/4HANA and manage the implementation of global tax engines such as Vertex, ONESOURCE, Sovos, and Avalara in a Zurich-based role.

You will advise multinational clients on operating model design, support e-invoicing and digital tax compliance, design testing strategies, and leverage analytics tools to improve tax reporting and controls.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in tax technology, transformation, ERP consulting or tax advisory.
• Strong SAP FICO knowledge (Accounting, SD, MM).
• Experience delivering SAP tax tech projects in multinationals.
• Hands-on with tax engines like Vertex, ONESOURCE, Sovos or Avalara.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Understanding of e-Invoicing, CTCs and digital tax compliance.
• Analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Alteryx.
• Advanced English; German/French an advantage.

• Advise multinational clients on tax operating model design and process optimization
• Drive tax technology workstreams within ERP transformation programs
• Support global e-Invoicing and digital tax compliance initiatives
• Define and execute testing strategies including SIT/UST/TC validations
• Leverage data analytics and automation to improve tax reporting and controls
• Build trusted client relationships and contribute to business development
