Job summary

KPMG AG in Zurich seeks a Manager – SAP Tax Technology to lead tax transformation projects in SAP S/4HANA, manage integration of Vertex, ONESOURCE, Sovos, and Avalara, and advise multinational clients on tax operating models.

You will drive tax tech workstreams in large ERP programs, support e-Invoicing and digital compliance, define testing strategies, and use analytics tools to improve tax reporting. Fluency in English; German/French a plus.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in tax technology or ERP/tax advisory.
• Strong SAP FICO/SD/MM knowledge.
• Experience delivering SAP tax tech projects in multinational orgs.
• Hands-on with Vertex, ONESOURCE, Sovos or Avalara.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Understanding of e-Invoicing, CTC, digital tax compliance.
• Experience with analytics tools: Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx.
• Advanced English; German/French a plus.

• Lead tax transformation projects in SAP S/4HANA environments

• Advise multinational clients on tax operating model design and process optimization

• Support global e-Invoicing, Continuous Transaction Controls, and digital tax compliance initiatives
• Define and execute testing strategies, including system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and tax scenario validation
• Leverage data analytics and automation solutions to improve tax reporting, controls, and compliance
• Build trusted client relationships and contribute to business development and go-to-market initiatives

This is what makes you successful

• Six or more years of experience in tax technology, tax transformation, ERP consulting, or tax advisory
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting, Sales and Distribution, and Materials Management
• Experience delivering SAP tax technology projects in multinational organizations
• Hands‑on experience with one or more global tax engines such as Vertex, ONESOURCE, Sovos, or Avalara
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
• Understanding of e-Invoicing, Continuous Transaction Controls, and digital tax compliance requirements
• Experience with analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx
• Advanced English skills; German and/or French is an advantage
