GE Vernova's Birr facility seeks a manufacturing engineer who bridges rotor design with production, ensuring drawings can be built to high quality, safety, and efficiency standards for 50 Hz and 60 Hz generators powering grids worldwide.

You will work on translating engineering designs to shop-floor guidance, drive producibility improvements, and lead root-cause analyses to resolve design-to-manufacturing challenges. This role also involves mentoring engineers and supporting lean initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is desirable.
• Significant experience in generator or heavy electrical equipment manufacturing.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing docs.

Aufgaben

• Bridge rotor design engineering with factory floor, translating drawings into manufacturing directions.
• Drive producibility improvements in design reviews balancing feasibility, cost and process capability.
• Lead resolution of design-to-manufacturing issues using RCA and CAPA.
• Capture and apply manufacturing insights to design standards and new products.
• Provide technical oversight, mentor junior engineers, and support lean initiatives.
