mimic Robotics AG in Zurich is seeking an Assembly & Maintenance Technician to support development and fabrication of dexterous robotic hands. You will work at the intersection of mechanics and electronics, assembling prototypes, developing tests, and organizing a state‑of‑the‑art hardware workshop.

Your work will help bring complex products from concepts to scalable manufacturing, with opportunities to install robots at customer sites and provide hardware support.

Qualifikationen

• Professional training (Ausbildung) or Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience building and assembling complex prototypes.
• 3D printing (FDM) expertise from professional or private projects.

Aufgaben

• Fabricate and assemble prototypes and small batch series of robotic hands.
• Develop and continuously improve manufacturing and assembly procedures.
• Develop, conduct and document reliability and lifetime testing of systems.
• Organise and manage state‑of‑the‑art mechanical workshop.
• Install robots at customer sites and provide hardware maintenance and support.
• Instruct others on processes and procedures you master.
