Job summary

Flexion is seeking an expert in robotics foundation models and multimodal human action data to advance generalizable manipulation. You will bridge human embodiment and robotic execution using video demonstrations and wearable capture systems, owning end-to-end development from data capture to modeling.

Qualifications

• PhD in computer science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with vision, vision-language, video, and other multimodal models trained on human data.
• Proven track record in multimodal generative modeling, training, and inference.
• Experience with reinforcement learning and imitation learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable data integration pipelines for human video demonstrations and wearable capture systems into foundation model workflows.
• Build automated pipelines for 3D object and environment reconstruction from capture data.
• Create simulation environments and RL pipelines to train dexterous manipulation policies.
• Design multimodal policy architectures and evaluate models translating sensor data to robust control.
• Advance embodied transfer between human embodiment and dexterous robotic hands and platforms.
