Enact is seeking a hands-on Robotics Teleoperator to physically guide and remotely operate cutting-edge robots. You will generate training data for neural networks by demonstrating real-world tasks, contributing directly to model learning and dexterity challenges.

You will work in Zürich, performing data capture, QA, and hardware maintenance while collaborating with AI researchers and robotics engineers to improve teleoperation pipelines.

In This Role

You will be the key connector between the digital and physical world. You will physically guide and remotely operate (teleoperate) state-of-the-art robots using motion-capture systems. Your physical demonstrations will directly form the training data our neural networks use to learn complex, real-world tasks. You will teach the AI what good looks like.

• Data Capture & Teleoperation: Perform high-volume task demonstrations (e.g., sorting objects, operating tools, door opening, manual assembly, cable manipulation) via motion tracking equipment.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor data stream quality, tag trajectory metadata, and flag anomalies or edge‑case physical behaviors to the AI engineering team.
• Hardware & Setup Maintenance: Assist with staging environments, changing end‑effectors, suggest hardware/software improvements and basic routine maintenance on the robot fleet.
• Cross-Functional Feedback: Work directly with AI researchers and robotics engineers to iterate on teleoperation controls and data acquisition pipelines.

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable piloting various robots for extended duration.
• Strong hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and fine motor control.
• Attention to Detail: A preference for an organized, functional workspace and a systematic approach to engineering tasks.
• Fluent in English (spoken), with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Tech-savviness with basic Linux commands, data logging tools, or troubleshooting equipment.
• Experience in gaming, RC piloting, or mechanical assembly is a plus
