Roche in Basel, Switzerland, invites applications for an internship in Pharmaceutical & Solid State Development. You will support systematic assessment of compaction simulator parameters to improve scale-up reliability for late-stage projects, and you will gain hands-on experience with StylONE compaction simulators in a non-GMP lab.

The role targets university students or recent graduates in Process/Mechanical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or Physics.

Qualifikationen

• University student or recent graduate within 12 months in a relevant field.
• Interest in technical and analytical issues.
• Good knowledge of MS-Office and Python.
• Willingness to work in a non-GMP environment.
• English and German language skills are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Review literature on tablet compaction and scale-up to rotary presses.
• Train and operate compaction simulation and tableting equipment.
• Execute compression experiments with materials and assess in-die/out-of-die properties.
• Collect and evaluate process parameters and defect data on late-stage projects.
• Write final report.
