Roche in Basel, Switzerland is offering an internship in Pharmaceutical & Solid State Development. The role supports manufacturing and characterizing dispersible tablet formulations at lab scale within a non-GMP environment.

We seek a university student (or recent graduate within 12 months) in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Technology, or Chemistry, with MS-Office skills and English; German is a plus. Start between January and March 2027 for 6–9 months.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Technology, or Chemistry, or recently graduated within 12 months.
• Interest in galenical and processing related questions and in sharing knowledge during internship.
• Proficient with MS-Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• English proficiency, German language a plus.

Aufgaben

• Review relevant literature for the project.
• Train in SOPs and manufacturing/analytical equipment.
• Plan and conduct formulation studies to select and optimize variants.
• Characterize formulations for manufacturability and disintegration performance.
• Regularly discuss project progress with supervisors and plan next steps.
• Write a final report.
