Zurich is seeking a Risk Manager for Non-Financial risk types at Group level to lead governance, analysis, and policy development across the organization. The role focuses on developing robust risk management practices and supporting regulatory activities while collaborating with diverse teams at a leading insurer in Zurich.

You will contribute to non-financial risk policies and controls, perform scoping and oversight, and drive risk assessment and reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in engineering, commerce, economics, finance, or IT.
• Experience in technology, operations, internal controls or risk management is an asset.
• Exposure to Third Party, Data Management, Information Security, and Business Resilience risk is a plus.

As a Risk Manager for Non-Financial risk types at the Group level, you will play a key role in implementing governance processes, providing analysis, and supporting policy development, making a real difference across the Group. What you will do

• Contribute to the production of non-financial risk policies, standards, instructions, guidance, and other governance documents.
• Perform Group level scoping, review and other local oversight activities.
• Develop and implement non-financial risk management processes in line with policy requirements.
• Perform analysis and communicate insights on non-financial risk topics.
• Lead responses to audit activities, including supervisory inspections.
• Support activities relating to the Group Risk Appetite and Tolerance Statement.
• Review and challenge the assessment of control deficiencies and adequacy of remediation initiatives.
• Communicate guidance and provide training on Group relevant non-financial risk matters.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (engineering, commerce, economics, finance, or IT).
• Prior experience in technology and operations functions, or internal controls and risk management is an asset.
• Exposure to Third Party, Data Management, Information Security, Business Resilience risk is a plus.
• Solid understanding of operational risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices including knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk assessment and mitigation techniques, and risk reporting frameworks.
• Self-starter with a positive and can-do attitude.
• Highly disciplined and strong focus on execution and delivery.
• Able to manage challenging deadlines.
• Proactive, driven, action, and results oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
