Job summary

Aargau Verkehr is seeking a Technical and Infrastructure Specialist (m/f/d) at 60% for the Zofingen location, starting 1 January 2027. You will handle technical support, fleet maintenance, workshop coordination, inspections, and warranty cases.

You will plan and monitor maintenance, ensure availability of the electric bus fleet and charging infrastructure, manage bus stops and passenger information, and support site management with budgeting and projects.

Qualifications

• Completed technical training in vehicle, electrical, or maintenance fields.
• Experience in technical maintenance and coordination of external workshops or service providers.
• Very good German skills and confident use of digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical management and maintenance of the fleet, including workshop coordination, inspections, and warranty/guarantee cases.
• Plan and monitor maintenance, repairs, breakdowns, and downtimes and accompany vehicle takeovers and conversions.
• Ensure availability of the electric bus fleet, charging infrastructure, and operational facilities.
• Manage bus stops and passenger information including maintenance, changes, coordination with authorities, and barrier-free development.
• Maintain technical documentation, contracts, appointments, and costs and support the site management with budget and projects.
• Undertake driving duties as required by operations (if category D licence is held).

To complement our line bus driver team, we are looking for an independent personality for the Zofingen location from 1 January 2027 as a Technical and Infrastructure Specialist (m/f/d) 60%

Your tasks

• You take over the technical support and maintenance of the vehicle fleet including workshop coordination, inspections, and warranty/guarantee cases

• You ensure the availability of the electric bus fleet, charging infrastructure, and operational facilities
• You manage bus stops and passenger information including maintenance, changes, coordination with authorities, and barrier-free development

Your profile

• Completed technical basic training, preferably in commercial vehicles, automotive technology, electrical engineering, building technology, or maintenance
• Experience in technical maintenance and coordination of external workshops or service providers
• Technical understanding of commercial and electric vehicles, charging, operational, and bus stop infrastructure
• Commercial understanding, very good German skills, and confident use of digital tools
• Independent, structured working style, organisational skills, and a confident manner
• Driving licence categories B and C: mandatory, D advantageous
