Zusammenfassung

ETH Zürich is seeking a Research / Student Assistant for the Swiss Mobility Panel to support longitudinal survey data collection in environmental politics and mobility behavior. You will program surveys in Qualtrics, maintain an R-based workflow, and help with data cleaning and reporting while collaborating with researchers at IPEEP, SPUR and IVT-TMP.

Start date Fall 2026, fixed-term: 1 year with possible extension; enrollment at a Swiss University required.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent oral and written communication in English and German.
• Programming skills in R.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program at a Swiss university.
• Strong command of RMarkdown and LaTeX.
• Previous experience with Qualtrics.
• Motivation to further develop skills in R and Qualtrics.
• Strong oral and written communication in French and/or Italian.
• Interest in public opinion research, environmental politics and mobility/travel behaviour.

Aufgaben

• Program surveys in Qualtrics
• Create documentation such as questionnaires, codebooks and technical reports
• Support the teams with data analysis and reporting to third party stakeholders such as SBB or AMAG
• Maintain our custom-made R package and provide support to the research teams
• Support panel management tasks such as data cleaning and data storage
