Qualifikationen

• PhD or equivalent level of expertise in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in developing high-quality scientific software (Python).
• Experience with EPICS or similar large-scale control systems and hardware integration.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.

Aufgaben

• Develop, maintain and support high-level measurement orchestration software for experiments (SLS: BEC, Beamline Experiment Control).
• Support time-critical experiments by assisting scientists with new functionalities and integration.
• Bridge gaps between scientists and technical teams across disciplines.
• Contribute expertise to GUIs, tools and libraries, including upstream open-source projects.
• Collaborate with PSI and national/international colleagues on ongoing and future projects.
