Zusammenfassung

Optotune is seeking an R&D Technician to support our development team from prototype stages through start of series production. You will assist with measurements, testing, quality control and analysis of products and processes, collaborating closely with project managers and engineers.

Ideal candidates have technician training (or higher) in optics/electronics/optoelectronics/mechatronics, plus hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and strong English/German language skills.

• Experience with manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Good command of English and German.

Aufgaben

• R&D assistance in the process flow from prototype manufacturing to start of series production.
• Operating and maintaining measurement and inspection equipment as well as conducting incoming and outgoing inspection.
• Planning and executing reliability test campaigns.
• Data preparation, test documentation and report generation in cooperation with stakeholders.
• Contribute to failure analysis and root cause investigations.
• Close cooperation with project managers, product development engineers, and process development engineers.

Requirements

• Technician training (or higher education) in the field of optics, electronics, optoelectronics or mechatronics
• Experience with manufacturing processes such as soldering, gluing, mechanical fabrication is a plus
• Good technical understanding and spatial awareness
• Independent, structured way of working in a dynamic environment
• Accurate work (measuring, evaluating, reporting) in project structures
• Good command of English and German
