Zusammenfassung

RUAG is seeking a System Engineer – Tactical Datalinks to cover maintenance, system integration and lifecycle support for Link16 and MIDS assets. You will conduct fault diagnosis, coordinate with suppliers, and perform system engineering activities across operation, upgrades, and security patches.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with 5+ years) in telecoms or related fields, fluent in German and English, and are willing to travel within Switzerland and abroad.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree preferred in telecommunications, communications engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering.
• Minimum bachelor's degree in one of the above fields, with 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Background in telecommunications, including radio, data transmission, secure communications, networking, RF systems or tactical networks.

Aufgaben

• Perform maintenance, fault diagnosis and corrective actions on Link16 ground systems, MIDS units and ICT equipment.
• Lead root-cause analysis for hardware, software and interoperability issues.
• Define corrective actions and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
