Job summary

UNIDIR in Geneva seeks a Strategic Communications Assistant to help implement project activities with a strong focus on strategic communication for the Middle East WMD-Free Zone.

Under supervision, you will develop materials, manage the project webpage, support analytics and online tools, and assist in producing briefs and presentations while ensuring a client-focused, quality-driven approach. This is a 12-month, remote opportunity with the UNIDIR project coordination team.

Qualifications

• University degree in related field; 3+ years communications experience.
• Demonstrated interest in WMD arms control, disarmament, or Middle East studies is desirable.
• Ability to develop and implement communications materials and social media strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support development of social media strategy and in-house communications materials.
• Manage and update project webpage.
• Support digital analytics and impact analysis with metrics.
• Assist in developing online interactive tools.
