Syneos Health is looking for a Principal Statistician - Early Phase. This fully home-based role (remote anywhere in Europe) supports sponsor endeavors across development stages, leading statistical strategy, trial design input, and SAP development from protocol to CSR.

You will mentor biostatisticians, oversee multiple projects, and contribute to regulatory submissions. A PhD or MSc in statistics with 6–8 years of pharmaceutical experience is required, with expert R and SAS skills and excellent

Qualifications

• Master's degree in biostatistics or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in clinical trials or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Program/project level leadership and contributions to clinical development strategy.
• Proficiency in R programming.
• Experience with regulatory submissions preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Leads the development and execution of a clinical development plan, including defining Go/No Go framework.
• Uses simulations and statistical strategy to inform and influence trial design decisions.
• Mentors biostatisticians and oversees training.
• Directs activities of biostatistics personnel to ensure timely, high-quality work.
• Supports statistical tasks across the lifecycle from protocol to CSR.
