OHCHR in Geneva seeks a Junior Communications Individual Contractor to help shape the Global Alliance for Human Rights’ public identity ahead of the 80th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The role focuses on developing a coherent communications strategy, creating engaging digital content, and coordinating with partners to ensure consistent messaging across platforms, while aligning with UN branding and standards.

Qualifikationen

• At least two years of experience in public information, journalism, marketing, or related fields is required.
• Experience producing social media and multimedia content and using content creation/design tools is required.
• Proficiency in video production, graphic design (Adobe Suite), and social media analytics tools is necessary.

• Develop and implement the Global Alliance’s communication strategy.
• Draft an advocacy calendar with partners and agencies.
• Produce social media content optimized for various platforms with basic video editing.
• Support partner social media and digital content production with strategic messaging guidelines.
• Research and draft impact stories for newsletters, reports, and external materials.
• Stay updated on communication trends and technologies and adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
• Develop creative campaign concepts and materials for digital, print, social, and multimedia.
• Ensure materials convey impact and comply with branding and UN standards.
• Provide strategic advice on digital media and website design and monitor analytics for reporting.
