Zusammenfassung

Galaxus is seeking an Analytics Engineer to simplify decision-making through data, automation, and analytics expertise. You will model data with SQL, build dashboards, and perform deep-dive analyses to support business decisions in a cross-functional Scrum team.

The role requires 1-3 years of relevant experience, a completed degree, and English proficiency (German welcome). Flexible to work from home with Swiss presence preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant experience in data modeling and analytics, gained through professional experience and/or a degree in a relevant field
• Hands-on analysis, building dashboards, and supporting business decisions
• Comfortable with SQL with exposure to ELT processes
• Experience with Python or R would be advantageous
• Experience with data transformation tools such as dataform or dbt is a plus
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
• Fluent in English, German willingness to learn
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to understand complex relationships
• Ability to work independently or in a team

Aufgaben

• Maintain and further develop provider reporting and profitability related products
• Model and transform data using SQL to build business-aligned data models for reporting, analytics and data science
• Build and maintain dashboards and automated reports for clear data presentation
• Conduct deep-dive analyses using SQL and Python to answer business questions and support decision-making
• Work in a cross-functional Scrum team to tackle complex initiatives
