Marion C. Early R5 Schools is seeking a Substitute Bus Driver to transport students safely and on schedule. You will operate district school buses in accordance with state laws and district policies, performing routine vehicle checks and reporting any issues promptly.

The role requires a high school diploma, a class B or higher CDL with S endorsement, and the ability to pass annual medical and safety evaluations. Excellent communication with staff, students, and parents is essential.

Aufgaben

• Transport students in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate school vehicles in accordance with state rules and district policies.
• Perform daily routine checks of brakes, lights, tires, oil and safety equipment.
• Report maintenance problems promptly and complete driver reports.
• Maintain clean interior and exterior condition of the bus at all times.
• Maintain order and discipline and report infractions as needed.
• Attend at least one driver training program per year.
• Participate in required drug and alcohol testing.
