You will be joining the Wealth Management department in Zurich with a permanent contract. Our building is located next to station Lancy-Pont-Rouge. This position requires a Swiss residency up-on the start of the position.
Overview of the team
- Join a high‑performing wealth management team with deep, trusted relationships across the Swiss market and who are recognised as experts in wealth management, local regulations and client centric solutions with a proven track record.
- Each member brings extensive knowledge of the Swiss private banking landscape - from family office dynamics to the needs of expatriates and local high net worth clients alike.
- Collaborative environment that mentors junior RMs and shares best‑practice insights.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Development: Design and execute acquisition strategies, lead high‑impact marketing, and drive growth (new clients, new business volumes, etc.).
- Portfolio Leadership: Own end‑to‑end management of a wealth management client book, ensuring compliance, KYC and risk standards.
- Cross‑Selling & Advisory: Conduct portfolio reviews, propose integrated solutions with Investment Banking, Asset Management, etc., and champion cross‑selling opportunities.
- Profitability Management: Control asset, revenue and expense budgets, exceeding performance targets.
- Service Excellence: Maintain top‑tier client satisfaction, resolve complex issues, and provide feedback to product and operations teams.
- Team Leadership: Coach junior RMs, lead client presentations and internal knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
Profile & Skills
Required Profile
- ≥5years progressive experience in wealth, private, corporate or investment banking with a proven independent book of business.
- University degree in finance/economics/business; CFA/CPA a plus.
- Fluent in German (native level) and strong English; additional languages advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership, integrity and alignment with BNPParibas values of diversity, equity, inclusion and ethical conduct.
Core Skills
- Advanced analytical/quantitative ability for financial modelling and risk assessment.
- Deep knowledge of wealth management, credit, investment and asset management products.
- Proven track record designing high‑impact marketing & sales programs, managing sizable pipelines and consistently beating revenue/asset‑growth targets while upholding compliance.
- Strong Swiss market network and ability to convert relationships into sustainable growth.
- Project management expertise to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
