The role includes managing global chemical and product legislation, with special but not exclusive focus on sustainability-related product regulations.

  • Compliance with sustainability-related product regulations: Monitor the related regulatory landscape and manage global chemical and product registrations for RAHN products, focusing on compliance with related, local and regional legislations, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Product sustainability stewardship: Provide product sustainability stewardship within the company but also with customers and suppliers.
  • Documentation: Lead the preparation, review and maintenance of regulatory documentation such as Product Carbon Footprints (PCFs), Declarations of Packaging Conformity (PPWR), Safety Data Sheets and corresponding labelling.
  • Data: Lead the collection and analysis of customer and supplier feedback from surveys; lead the structuring and validation of related data,
  • Customer & Sales Support: Advise customers, suppliers and internal teams on regulatory requirements for product approvals, particularly but not exclusively in sustainability-related areas, ensuring compliance and market readiness.
  • Regulatory & Sustainability Strategy Implementation: Support the Head of Department in executing both divisional and corporate R&S strategies by monitoring relevant regulations and ensuring RAHN’s compliance with product sustainability and environmental standards as well as customer-specific R&S criteria.
  • You bring a solid scientific foundation, ideally through a higher chemical education, combined with experience in regulatory affairs within the chemical or similar industry or a regulatory consultancy. You are familiar with processes and tools related to ECHA / REACH-IT.
  • While prior experience in product sustainability is not required, you have a strong personal interest in this area and are motivated to contribute to related initiatives. Prior experience in toxicology is another nice-to-have.
  • You are confident in using standard Microsoft PC applications.
  • You take initiative and maintain a strong can-do mentality, ensuring tasks are approached with motivation, independence, and a focus on results.
  • You communicate clearly and have a structured way of working, contributing to efficiency, while maintaining flexibility to support smooth handling of changing priorities.
  • Your collaborative mindset fosters effective teamwork, with active contributions to shared goals and a supportive attitude towards colleagues.
  • You are fluent in English; German language skills would be a valuable asset.

We offer you an exciting opportunity where you can take on responsibility and work independently within a professional, multicultural team. You’ll benefit from a comprehensive employment package, modern office spaces, and state-of-the-art equipment. We also actively support your continued education and personal development.
